We steered all young girl princess fascinations towards the Amazonian Princess. Contemplating writing a children book series w/ a rogue princess in the lead.
Fuck you Bell is smart and she also fought shit.
Oh blah, I remember this going around a while ago and being pissed about it then, too. Whoever wrote this is confusing “sex” with “love.” Sleeping Beauty’s fiance saves her because he LOVES her. It’s dumb that it says “sex is her only salvation.” Ariel wanted to be a human anyway. Prince Eric was just a bonus. And it’s nice that that story tells you that you can be whatever you want. I don’t get what’s so bad about the Jasmine story. Yayy street rats! He saved her because he loves her, and we’re forgetting she BROKE the law to marry Aladdin, so that didn’t follow through either. Belle’s “only asset” wasn’t her sexuality, it was her kind heart, something apparently different about her since the start of the movie. The Beast wasn’t even looking to sex her. And fuck whoever said Cinderella wasn’t a hard worker. That shit ain’t true.
And as for Snow White, FUCK I wish I were so sexy that people wanted to kill me out of jealousy.
Obviously there are issues with the princesses and some of their situations, but the person who wrote this is so goddamn pessimistic.
I really like these points that were made. Thumbs up!
