Questions I answered
1. If you could do anything for a living without having to worry about the money, what would it be?
I would go to school and learn all the things I wanted to and then also do lots of running and buy a lot of things on the internet and also take lots of naps and watch TV shows. Realistically.
2. Your house is on fire. I know, sad. You only have time to grab three things, and everyone in your house is already safely outside. What do you take with you?
MY COMPUTER. All of my things are on that baby.
3. If you could choose to be an animal for the rest of your life, would you do it? What would it be?
No. But if I had to, I’d be a cat. So people could feed me and pet me and I could take lots of naps and sneak-attack watch TV.
4. Who is your favorite fictional person?
ARYA STARK. She’s my baby.
5. What, to you, is the perfect weekend activity?
Drinking alone, watching TV alone. Also naps.
6. Would you rather, for the rest of your life, have someone do your laundry or someone to go grocery shopping for you (with your money)?
Grocery shopping. I like doing laundry (sort of), but it would be nice for someone to resist temptation for me at the grocery store.
7. Should you be doing something else right now? If so, what is it? Because I should definitely be doing something else right now.
Yes. Oh well. Should probably work on my seminar paper. But it’s not due for 3 more days.
8. What was your favorite recess activity?
Playing tag. Because I was a beast.
9. Off the top of your head, what is a book you would instantly recommend to anyone who’s asking?
Abarat by Clive Barker. It’s just fun.
10. Is there anyone in particular you have always wanted to meet? Who is it?
Leonardo DiCaprio. I just feel like he’d be really nice.
11. Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?
Probably Algeria. Algeria is my answer to everything today (thanks, seminar paper!).
Sherlock would be a terrible Zelda companion.
Sherlock as Navi, the King of Red Lions, Midna, and Fi.
John as Link, Link, Link, and Link.

Can you lend me some academic motivation? I seem to have lost mine.
I found mine in the library. Check there? (Note: I am not in the library. I am refusing to start being motivated yet for the day.)

I am the WORST influence tonight. Sorry!
NOT TRUE. I am a bad influence on myself. (Part 4 of that fic needs to come out, like, now.)

If it helps, the Italian fic updated!
::goestoread:: ::doesnohomework::
John immediately knows Sherlock is engaged in doing something mysterious when he comes in and the detective isn’t destroying the flat. The sitting-room is as tidy as he left it, and there is no burning smell coming from the kitchen. Sherlock is on the sofa, in a relatively normal position, looking at some sheet music with a light smirk on his face. John is scared.
He clears his throat.
‘Ah, John,’ says Sherlock. At least, that’s what John thinks he’s saying. He swears that he sounds marginally different. Paranoia, he tells himself. Is it really so bad that Sherlock isn’t blowing something up?
Should have just gone with his instinct.
‘Tu as acheté du lait? Je l’ai tout utilisé. Je l’ai demandé à Madame Hudson mais elle n’a pas compris.’
French mood. Right. John sighs and rubs his temples. ‘I don’t speak French, Sherlock.’
UM THIS FIC IS ALL OF THE THINGS AND ADORBZ.
I can’t remember who linked it on here, but I refound it because IT IS AMAZEBALLS.

PRECISELY.

Hm. Sounds like all of the books in that series. Basically anything without Lafayette bores me, frankly. Or Pam. But again, TV!Pam is much more fabulous.
Pam was in the beginning of this book quite a bit! I was pleased. But TV Pam, Lafayette and Tara are the best. Also Sookie is such a boring character. I can’t relate to her at all. I think this will be my last book, though I’ll stick with the show for the drama and eye candy.
alyharania replied to your post: I AM SO BORED.
I am sorry to inform you that the books are boring. The TV series is fun, but the books are snooze. No Lafayette and no Tara make for boring reads.
I am on the 7th one and the trite “Some plot set up, Sookie has WONDERFUL SEX, boring stuff, some plot, OH NO WHICH GUY SHALL SHE CHOOSE, plot finishes” formula needs more variety. So predictable. I’ll probably just skim through it and finish it tomorrow so it counts on my 2012 100-book challenge. :/
Love the show though. It’s all dramatic and vampirey and all the stuff I like. (AND HOT MEN.)

You’s a crazy person. Do you need anything? An icepack for your fingers? A therapist for your crazy citation ways? I wouldn’t be surprised with the robot thing, really. In a good way.
No ice pack or therapist needed! I’m just too awesome. I actually really enjoy doing citations (shh, don’t tell…) and I didn’t realize I had that many sources until tonight. But over half of them are really just short documents… however, I will still brag about the big 74 on any occasion. Trying to fit them all into a bibliographic essay though… it’s killing me.

Nope. More excited for classes than for friends. Not that I don’t love ya’ll, but… class.
I am always more excited for class. And since half of my friends were here for the summer anyway, I wasn’t too lonely. But my textbooks are SO TEMPTING. ::is a nerd for always::
